This award is in recognition to the exceptional contributions to teaching by transforming the laboratory educational experience. This award is for developing innovative teaching methodologies on delivering lectures, hands on laboratory training, and discussions. This award was also in recognition for his empathetic advising and unwavering commitment to student success. He was the only graduate student selected from over 100 candidates from 13 countries to receive this award in 2007 from the Department of Biology, Texas A&M University. In addition to the certificate, there was a cash prize.
